Great place if you want generous portions, reasonable prices and, tasty food come here! Ambiance is more utilitarian, but it is tidy. You can get a GIANT salad with chicken for $14. Service is friendly. Our cabana swim team has also used them for catering. They do such a good job and are so easy to work with that we have used them for multiple seasons.

The quesadillas here are huge, so they could easily be a meal for a single person. I like the Quesadilla Hongos (with the parmesan crust!), but my wife hates mushrooms. :) The Quesadilla Poblano is good too. I like the thick romesco sauce that comes with it on the side. Our go-to order is Chicken Enchiladas with Red Sauce. The sauce is so delicious that I often clean up my plate with the complimentary tortilla chips. A word of caution though... Beware the Carne Adobada Enchiladas!! We both love spicy food, but those things are atomic!

I always did take out during my college years when I worked at a newspaper company that would give us free food for ads. After 8 years, I dined in and I am surprised how great the food and atmosphere is here! Personally I would say this is better than LA cueva, even though that is my go to spot! There is an assortment of salsas to choose from and complimentary chips! We shared some nachos that were loaded and I got the cheese enchiladas which were hot and so flavorful. This is a great spot that I will be taking my mom to!

One of the most authentic mexican restaurants I have tried in the bay so far. I got the chicken enchilada which was super yummy. The portions are generous for the price. Specially love the variety of self serve salsas they have. Also liked the ambiance of the restaurant which does justice to the type of cuisine served. Would recommend dining.
